Join a Guided Tour of Belogradchik.  See the remarkable rock formations on the slopes of the Balkan Mountains, sculpted by 200 million years of natures's elements.  Then, visit the mighty Baba Vida Fortress in nearby Vidin.

Day 4: Iron Gates Gorge-Golubac, Serbia, Excursion to Lepenski Vir

Ancient artifacts and the Iron Gates.  Before lunch on board, you'll sail through the  spectacular and narrow Iron Gates Gorge-forming a natural border between Serbia and Romania.

 Enjoy a walking tour in Novi Sad along the narrow streets that climb slowly to the top of the hill above the city to Petrovaradin Fortress, OR:

 Experience the sweet life in Serbia with a visit and tasting at the Museum of Beekeeping and Živanović Wine Cellar in Sremski Karlovci.

Day 7: Ilok, Croatia-Vukovar, Croatia

Visit Aberdeenshire Highland Cattle to meet a farmer raising Highland cows.  See and photograph these famously gentle, long-haired creatures up close.  Next, tour Drum Castle, Gardens and Estate and see the imposing medieval tower and impressive Victorian library.  retro to your hotel to dine with your group.  (B,D)


Day 8: Mohacs, Hungary. Excursion to Pecs

Visit Dundee, once known as the city of "jute, jam and journalism" for its local industries, and now a cultural hub and the UK's first UNESCO City of Design.  take free time to explore the transformed waterfront, with it's impressive architecture, museums, and an urban beach.  Travel on to St Andrews, known as the home of golf and rich in medieval heritage.  Take a panoramic drive and explore the city independently before departing for your hotel near Edinburgh.  your evening is free to one independently. Day 9: Budapest (Disembarkation)

 Budapest airport Your cruise ends with breakfast this morning.  Flights should not leave Budapest airport before         8 am.  (B)
